Ausashia was nominated for People to People, which is an organization that recognizes student leaders. As a result of hard work and determination, she was able to travel to Washington D.C. During her time, she heard from leaders such as Laura Bush, Colin Powell, and more. The group she was with saw many amazing sites, as well. Ausashia spent time sharing about her trip with the school.
