This was a very special public speaking workshop taught by Johnny Leifheit and Tim Elliott. They did a session for 1st-4th on one day and the middle school the next. Johnny is currently interning with TeenPact, an excellent leadership program that “turns students into statesmen.” Johnny will travel to eight state capitals this season and will teach children and teenagers about government. Tim staffed TeenPact while he was in high school, which allowed him to have many new experiences around the country during his senior year. Tim is headed to the University of St. Andrews this weekend to spend a semester studying abroad. Before they both leave for their adventures, they agreed to teach our students public speaking skills.
