Kelly Dayfield – Mrs. Dayfield teaches Pre-school and Kindergarten.  She attended OVCS as a student from Kindergarten through 8th grade (there was no high school offered at that time).  Mrs. Dayfield graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with a Bachelor’s degree in both health and physical education for K-12 and Biblical Studies.  She served as a police officer for 5 years in Connecticut before returning to Maine, with her husband, in July 2009. 

 

Lori Goulding – Mrs. Goulding teaches 1st and 2nd grade.  This is her second year teaching at OVCS.  She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a B.S. in Business Administration and MS in Special Education.  Mrs. Goulding is certified to teach birth-8th grade special education and K-8 regular education.

 

Scott Weirick –  Mr. Weirick is the principal, as well as the 3rd through 5th grade teacher.  He is a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.  He has been teaching at OVCS since August 2002.  Mr. Weirick and his wife are faithful members of the Congregational Church in Limington. 

 

Ty Dunbar – Mr. Dunbar teaches 6th through 8th grade.  He attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina and received his Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Bethany Divinity College.  He is currently working on his Master’s degree from Reformed Baptist Seminary in Taylors, South Carolina.  Mr. Dunbar is also the assistant pastor at Limerick Free Baptist Church.  He has been teaching at OVCS since 2008. 

 

Betty Piccininni – Mrs. Piccininni teaches High School Bible. She attended SMCC and New England Bible College and has several college credits with Precept International Institute. She has been substituting at OVCS for over seven years. As a Precept Leader for over fifteen years, she has lead over twenty five Bible studies. She is an active member of Limerick Free Baptist Church and enjoys being the librarian at her church. Mrs. Piccininni lives in Cornish with her husband, Joe. They have two grown daughters and three grandchildren.

 

 

Linda Gardner – Mrs. Gardner teaches in the high school program.  She began teaching high school at OVCS in the Spring of 2002.  She attended the University of Connecticut and Andover College.  She worked in the insurance industry for 16 years; 5 years at Aetna Life and Casualty and 11 years at Unum in Portland, ME.  Mrs. Gardner is an active member of the Limerick Free Baptist Church.  She resides in Limington with her husband Ken.  Their children are grown.  Their two granddaughters are students at OVCS.   

 

Joy Hayes – Mrs. Hayes teaches in the high school program.  She is originally from Taunton, Massachusettes, but grew up in several places in the northeast due to her parent’s ministry in the Salvation Army.  She has her MA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.  Along with her husband, Mrs. Hayes homeschooled their four children, now ages 11, 13, 16, and 22 until two years ago when she came to OVCS.

    I love the new website! It is much more visually appealing and user friendly than the old one. Good job Mr. Dunbar and Mr. Weirick on designing it. I think it represents the school well.
