Academics
We average 10:1 class size ratios. Our curriculum primarily comes from the following sources: A Beka Books, Saxon Math, and Summit Ministries.
However, we also allow our teachers liberty to tailor our curriculum each year to the needs of the students, because we believe learning is about more than what you can find in a book.
We use Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) MAP assessment testing to evaluate and measure progress twice a year.

Ministries
We utilize ministry opportunities to teach student about the importance of helping others. Each class at Ossipee Valley Christian School has a ministry. The students and teachers spend time each month helping the needy, encouraging the elderly, and serving the community.
Ministries include – supplies for the homeless, Operation Christmas Child, helping at the local food pantries, and care packages for local police departments.

Athletics
Ossipee Valley Christian School is part of the Maine Christian School Sports League (MCSSL). We currently offers the following athletics: co-ed soccer and basketball at four different levels – Pee Wee, Intermediate, Jr. Varsity, and Varsity. Plus, we gauge interest in an additional intramural program each spring.
This past year was a particularly rewarding one for our athletics department with an outpouring of team spirit. We very much look forward to what the next year will bring!

Space is Limited. Currently, we have available student openings in Kindergarten – 12th grade. PreK is being evaluated and we are creating a waiting list to determine classroom sizes and needs.
