Academics
We average 10:1 class size ratios. Our curriculum primarily comes from the following sources: ABeka Books, Saxon Math, and Summit Ministries.
However, we also allow our teachers the liberty to tailor our curriculum each year to the needs of the students, because we believe learning is about more than what you can find in a book.
We use Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) MAP assessment testing to evaluate and measure progress twice a year.

Ministries
We utilize ministry opportunities to teach students about the importance of helping others. Each class at Ossipee Valley Christian School has a ministry. The students and teachers spend time each month helping the needy, encouraging the elderly, and serving the community.
Ministries include – supplies for the homeless, Operation Christmas Child, helping at the local food pantries, and care packages for local police departments.

Athletics
Ossipee Valley Christian School is part of the Maine Christian School Sports League (MCSSL). We currently offer the following athletics: co-ed soccer and basketball at three different levels – Intermediate, Jr. Varsity, and Varsity. Plus, we offer disc golf in the spring.
While athletics are just one part of the OVCS experience, they continue to be a source of pride within our school community. This past year, our Boys Varsity Basketball team earned a spot in the MCSSL Championship Finals for the third consecutive year – an incredible accomplishment that reflects not only talent, but dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to honoring God both on and off the court.
We’re also proud to celebrate several OVCS student-athletes who were named MCSSL All-Stars for the 2025–2026 season. Their leadership, sportsmanship, and hard work represent the heart of our athletics program and the values we strive to instill in every student.
