“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.”
Matthew 7:24-27
At OVCS, our high school teachers do more than just deliver lessons — they inspire, guide, and invest in the lives of their students. With a heart for Christian education and a passion for their subjects, they create a learning environment where students feel supported academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Whether it’s through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, or one-on-one encouragement, our teachers are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. Their flexible and caring approach ensures that every learner knows they are valued and capable of success, both in the classroom and beyond.
Meet Mrs. Bryant
A High School Teacher at Ossipee Valley Christian School for 6 years.
Step into Mrs. Bryant’s high school classroom, and you’ll notice something different right away. It doesn’t feel like a typical classroom. That’s intentional. “I try to have a classroom that is comforting and not overstimulating,” she explains. The result? A peaceful, inviting space where students can focus, feel safe, and be themselves.
One student once told her, “It feels like a therapist’s office.” Mrs. Bryant loved that comparison. “I think both the therapists and I want to put people at ease and make them feel cared for,” she says. It’s no wonder her students feel so connected to her.
In her own words:
“I like to use a lot of discussion and fun activities. My goal is to keep students relaxed and engaged.”
“Mrs. Bryant loves teaching high schoolers! Not only is she a qualified and knowledgeable teacher, she also cares about student’s hearts. Truly a blessing!” – Anonymous Parent
For Mrs. Bryant, teaching high school students at OVCS isn’t just a job — it’s a community. “The great students, their families, and my co-workers, of course!” she says with a smile when asked what she loves most about teaching here. That sense of connection is at the heart of everything she does.
Mrs. Bryant’s classroom is more than a place for lectures and tests — it’s a space where students feel heard, supported, and encouraged to grow. Through thoughtful discussions, a calming environment, and a genuine passion for teaching, she has created a unique space that students remember long after they leave her classroom.
At OVCS, we’re grateful to have educators like Mrs. Bryant, who understand that sometimes the best learning happens when students feel truly at ease.
Meet Mrs. Kuschke
A Jr. & Sr. High Classroom Aide
At OVCS, we’re blessed with staff members whose dedication goes far beyond the classroom. One such person is Mrs. Kuschke, our High School and Junior High Classroom Aide, whose unique blend of experience, compassion, and teaching skill makes a lasting impact on our students every day.
What truly sets Mrs. Kuschke apart is her heart of service. Her dedication to OVCS, its students, and the broader school community shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s assisting in the classroom, teaching a science lesson, or quietly encouraging a student to keep going, she embodies the spirit of servant leadership.
Though her title is Classroom Aide, Mrs. Kuschke’s role is so much more. She’s a mentor, a helper, a teacher, and a constant source of encouragement. Her presence in the High School and Junior High classrooms helps create a supportive, caring environment where students feel safe to learn, ask questions, and strive for their best.
At OVCS, we’re grateful for Mrs. Kuschke’s faithful service and the impact she makes in the lives of our students each day.
