The children in Pre-K through 2nd grade participate in a variety of opportunities each month, from collecting food and stocking up the shelves of the Shaker Hill Food Pantry to baking cookies for the local firemen and policemen. Other activities include making dog treats and toys for a local shelter, crafting Valentine’s for shut-ins, and sending off Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and care packages for the troops. Each month the children are actively involved in reaching out to others in our community and around the world. Our goal is that the children will learn that no matter how young you are, you can make an impact to spread God’s love and Good News to others.
