Service Projects

Each year teams of OVCS students, staff, and parents go out into the local community to help those in need.  Raking is our biggest task each fall.  Sometimes we finish early at our planned worksites and are able to surprise people with unexpected help around their yards.  One year, we picked apples at Pulsifer’s for local food pantries! In the spring, we do tasks around the community. We do work at area churches, parks, fairgrounds, cemetaries, and assisted living facilities. Work done includes raking, trash pick-up, wood stacking, flower planting, sweeping, and more.  Here are a few pics of work being done (and a little fun, too).
